'No doubt' FM will resign if he loses confidence vote - McKee

An SNP politician has said he has "no doubt" that Humza Yousaf will resign as first minister if he loses a vote of no-confidence next week.

Former business minister Ivan McKee told the BBC Scotland's Good Morning Scotland it would be "clear indication of the will of the parliament".

Mr McKee, who was Kate Forbes' campaign manager in the SNP leadership contest, said he was glad the first minister had ended the power sharing agreement with the Scottish Greens, and that the party was uniting around him.

Mr Yousaf has said he is determined to stay on as first minister, and that he is confident he will win the confidence vote, which could take place as early as Wednesday.
