Dozens of Gaza protesters arrested at Yale University

Dozens of demonstrators protesting the war in Gaza were arrested at Yale University, after they ignored "multiple requests" to leave a block on campus they were occupying. The demonstrators demand that the University cut investments in weapons manufacturers.

This is the latest in a range of protests at US colleges, including Columbia University, where more than 100 were arrested last week. Students say there has been a rise in both antisemitic and Islamophobic incidents on college campuses since the 7 October attack on southern Israel by Hamas gunmen.
